The 1-love photo series was inspired by the 1970’s and women's tennis star Billie Jean King. In 1973, male tennis player Bobby Riggs challenged King to a $100,000 winner-take-all tennis match, dubbed “the Battle of the Sexes”. Riggs, sure of his victory, claimed that he would win because “she’s a woman and they don’t have the emotional stability”. King responded to his slew of insults by famously calling him a "chauvinist pig". History favors the humble, and Billie Jean King won all three tennis sets. The editing was done by VSCO and utilized the A4-A10 series. A4 got the most use. On top of that, exposure was brought up to 1.1, contrast down to 1.1 and saturation down to 1.2. Enjoy 1-love.
