Sunday Scaries: A Boss Bitch Brand Feature
CBD. Does that “word” scare you? It scared me when I first heard of it. I thought CBD = weed. After research and talking with Andrea Cordova from Sunday Scaries, I realized there was nothing to be afraid of and I tried CBD for the first time. I was gifted their vegan and non-vegan CBD gummies and have been trying them for about a month now. I find that these gummies have the ability to calm me down and even help my sleeping patterns if taken before bed.

1. What inspires you? I'm inspired by the opportunity to do good. I love the part of my job where I get to open a DM and see that our product has helped someone overcome their anxiety, or combat their ptsd, or relieve some of their day-to-day pains. It's a great feeling!
2. What’s your sign and how do you think that plays a part in your life? So I'm a Libra, which means that I'm a type A personality that tries to play it off like I'm not. But I TOTALLY am haha! Honestly though, I feel like my Libra tendencies help me be a better social media and community manager. I can find the balance between work and fun by keeping work fun!
3. What is the main purpose of your account/brand? Sunday Scaries is a lifestyle brand devoted to providing a natural CBD product in an affordable, fun, and delicious way to help people everywhere chill tf out! 4. What is something you love deeply about yourself? I think the one thing I truly love about myself is my resolve. I've been kicked down a lot in my life, but I've never given up. That's what brought me here to Sunday Scaries, and honestly, it's a dream come true. 5. What’s some advice you have for girls revolving around confidence? Confidence starts from inside yourself. I know it sounds crazy cheesy, but it's true. When you stop worrying about how other people perceive you and focus on what makes you truly happy, it's life changing. Do things because it's what you want to do. Do it for you. 6. What makes you feel confident? Forgive my nerdiness, but I get a lot of my validation and confidence from data. Personally, I gain happiness from my career, and the best way to tell if I'm doing a good job is analytics. When I see that I had an idea that doubled our views, it makes me feel totally validated. Numbers don't lie! That always makes me feel more confident in my decisions, ideas, and mindset in the workplace. 7. What have you had to overcome that’s made you who you are? I guess this is a bit personal, but honestly one of the biggest things I've had to overcome in my life is my family relationships. I grew up with a small and broken family, but not only has it made me more independent, it's also made me more compassionate. 8. Who are your biggest inspirations? It's the cheesy cop-out answer, but my biggest inspiration will always be my mom. By the time she was my age, she had two kids and was on her way to be valedictorian at an Ivy League university. She is an incredible human being with a very kind heart. Her ability to conquer life has always had me in awe! 9. What’s your beauty/fashion go to? Shameless plug here, but did you know that CBD can reduce redness and inflammation? At night, I rub a few drops of our tincture over my acne scars and WOW. The redness in my face is NOTICEABLY different by the morning! 10. What would you say is the best thing about you? I think the best thing about me is my work ethic. If I say I'm going to get something done, it's going to get done. And it's going to get done promptly.
