What inspires you?
I draw inspiration from simple things. A good cup of coffee, having breakfast with my family, sharing laughter with them, getting my 3-year old ready for preschool. An unexpected smile from a stranger, a good movie, a great book. I am also inspired by success of others and that is why I love to listen to podcasts and TED talks that cover successful entrepreneurs. A nice customer review on my product is always an icing on the cake.
What’s your sign and how do you think that plays a part in your life?
Honestly, I don’t believe in horoscopes. I believe that we succeed in live based on three things: hard work, meeting the right people on our life journey and a good deal of luck.
What is the main purpose of your account/brand?
Organation is a new concept in cosmetic industry. It was conceived to satisfy our customers’ unique needs by offering personalized skin care products that they participate in building by selecting organic and natural ingredients that address their specific needs. What makes us stand out is the proprietary selection algorithm and the custom-built formulation machine that we created from scratch.
What is something you love deeply about yourself?
Perseverance and hard work are the two virtues that are the genesis of my success. I don’t give up easily and when I encounter difficulties this only makes me more determined to succeed.
What’s some advice you have for girls revolving around confidence?
Embrace your uniqueness. Everyone is unique and only through embracing your individuality will you be able to love yourself.
What makes you feel confident?
The fact that I know that my family and loved ones will always have my back.
What have you had to overcome that’s made you who you are?
I come from a very modest background. I started working when I was 15 and never stopped. In order to start my first business in Moscow, I had to sell all of my possessions and sustained on a shoestring budget for over two years. I then moved to the United States, had to learn the language, the new culture, to understand what makes people around me tick. Honestly, I am still not sure which part was harder, betting everything I had on a business or moving to a new country to pursue my dreams.
Who are your biggest inspirations?
I have so many. I am inspired by everyone who took a leap, who failed but got back up. I consider myself and underdog and thus the underdog stories resonate with me. This is why I am especially impressed with JK Rowling, who was abandoned by her husband, had no money to support herself, had her writing rejected time and time again, but never gave up and became one of the most successful writers of our time.

Honesty. I am of firm belief that the only way to deal with people is by telling them the truth. Lies beget lies and you always pay dearly at the end.
