I got the perfect skincare match for my skin and have been using it everyday since. I love how lightweight yet hydrating it is. It certainly is the perfect moisturizer for my skin. I called mine ‘letters from the stars’ as a tribute to my screen name “stargirl” and my poetry book to be released soon. I loved the aspect of naming it yourself as your own personal blend. It made the whole process feel very personalized and sincere to me. Also, the packaging is beautiful. Just a simple shiny black case with a white tag for the name. I love simplicity and this company really hit that aspect perfectly.
What inspires you? I draw inspiration from simple things. A good cup of coffee, having breakfast with my family, sharing laughter with them, getting my 3-year old ready for preschool. An unexpected smile from a stranger, a good movie, a great book. I am also inspired by success of others and that is why I love to listen to podcasts and TED talks that cover successful entrepreneurs. A nice customer review on my product is always an icing on the cake.

In order to start my first business in Moscow, I had to sell all of my possessions and sustained on a shoestring budget for over two years. I then moved to the United States, had to learn the language, the new culture, to understand what makes people around me tick. Honestly, I am still not sure which part was harder, betting everything I had on a business or moving to a new country to pursue my dreams.
Who are your biggest inspirations? I have so many. I am inspired by everyone who took a leap, who failed but got back up. I consider myself and underdog and thus the underdog stories resonate with me.
